EB-5 FAQ
Common questions about the EB-5 Investor Visa Program
1What is the minimum investment amount for EB-5?
The minimum investment is $800,000 for projects in Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) and $1,050,000 for non-TEA projects. Most of our projects qualify for the $800,000 minimum.
2How long does the EB-5 process take?
The complete process typically takes 3-5 years from initial investment to permanent Green Card. This includes I-526 processing (18-30 months), consular processing (6-12 months), and I-829 processing (24-36 months after conditional residency).
3Can my family be included in the application?
Yes! Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 years old can be included in your EB-5 application. They will receive the same immigration benefits as you.
4What are the job creation requirements?
Your investment must create at least 10 full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers. These jobs must be maintained for at least 2 years. Our projects are carefully structured to exceed these requirements.
5Do I need to manage the business myself?
No. As a passive investor in a regional center project, you are not required to manage the business day-to-day. You can live anywhere in the U.S. and pursue any employment or business activities you choose.
